These programs prepare you to become a pilot — starting with private pilot training and advancing toward professional certificates.

Common Pilot Training Courses

  • Private Pilot License (PPL) – Basic pilot certification to fly single-engine aircraft.

  • Instrument Rating – Teaches flying in instrument weather conditions.

  • Commercial Pilot License (CPL) – Required to work as a paid pilot.

  • Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) – Highest level for airline and commercial flying.
Many colleges and flight academies combine ground school with flight training.

Pilot training has two major parts:

  • A. Ground School

    Classroom learning that covers:

    • Aerodynamics

    • Aircraft systems

    • Weather

    • Navigation

    • Regulations

    • Flight planning

    • Air traffic communication

  • B. Flight Training

    Hands-on flying with an instructor:

    • Takeoff & landing

    • Control maneuvers

    • Navigation

    • Emergency procedures

    • Night flight

    • Cross-country flight

    • Solo flights

What is the target audience?

  • Program Duration

Training time depends on the license:

    • PPL: 3–6 months

    • Instrument Rating: 2–4 months

    • CPL: 6–12 months

    • ATPL: 1–2 years (including experience)

Integrated programs combine all levels and may take 18–36 months.

Pilot Training & Flight Courses prepare students to become skilled, licensed pilots capable of flying aircraft safely in different weather conditions, airspace environments, and operational scenarios.
Training includes ground school, simulator practice, and actual flight training with certified instructors.
